Launch Lite Terms

Last updated: June 19, 2026

These Launch Lite Terms explain how ZettaFish Launch Lite projects work.

By approving a Launch Lite scope, making a payment, or asking ZettaFish to begin work, you agree to these terms.

If your written Scope Confirmation says something different from these general terms, your Scope Confirmation controls for that specific project.

What Launch Lite Is

Launch Lite is a focused website service for small businesses that need a clear, polished online home.

A Launch Lite site is meant to help visitors understand:

  • who you are
  • what you offer
  • why they can trust you
  • what they should do next

Launch Lite uses a proven website structure and is tailored around your business, content, goals, and next step.

What Launch Lite Is Not

Launch Lite is not a full custom software project, unlimited design process, or ongoing marketing service.

Unless your Scope Confirmation specifically says otherwise, Launch Lite does not include:

  • full ecommerce setup
  • custom software or backend features
  • custom customer portals
  • unlimited revisions
  • unlimited design exploration
  • full branding or logo design
  • full copywriting from scratch
  • paid ads or marketing management
  • advanced SEO campaigns
  • product photography
  • ongoing website updates after launch
  • emergency support
  • legal, tax, financial, medical, or regulated-industry advice

If you need something outside your accepted scope, ZettaFish may quote it separately.

Scope Confirmations

Each Launch Lite project starts with a written Scope Confirmation.

Your Scope Confirmation may include the recommended Launch Lite path, project goal, included pages or features, materials needed from you, estimated timeline, project price, payment structure, revision limits, launch process, and optional care plan details.

The Scope Confirmation defines what ZettaFish is agreeing to build for your project.

To approve a scope, you may be asked to reply by email with:

“I approve this Launch Lite scope and agree to the Launch Lite Terms.”

ZettaFish may also treat payment or written approval to begin work as acceptance of the Scope Confirmation and these terms.

Payment and Project Start

An initial project payment is required before ZettaFish begins work.

This initial project payment reserves time in the Launch Lite schedule and covers project setup, planning, review, preparation, and early build work.

Once the scope is approved and ZettaFish begins scheduling, planning, setup, or build work, the initial project payment is non-refundable.

If your project uses split payments, the remaining balance must be paid before the site is launched, moved to the final public domain, or handed off as complete.

ZettaFish is not required to begin work, continue work, provide previews, launch a site, or provide post-launch support until required payments are received.

Client Materials and Responsibilities

To complete your Launch Lite project, ZettaFish needs accurate information and timely feedback from you.

Depending on your scope, you may need to provide business details, logo or brand assets, photos, product images, service details, social media links, booking links, shop links, payment links, contact links, domain information, policies, disclaimers, required wording, feedback, and approvals.

You are responsible for making sure the information, images, links, prices, offers, policies, and claims you provide are accurate and that you have permission to use them.

If required materials, feedback, approvals, or access are delayed, the project timeline may shift.

Content, Copy, and Images

ZettaFish may help clean up, organize, and lightly refine the content you provide so it works better on the site.

Unless your Scope Confirmation specifically includes deeper copywriting, brand messaging, photography, or content strategy, Launch Lite does not include creating all business content from scratch.

You are responsible for reviewing the site before launch and confirming that names, prices, services, offers, contact information, policies, and other business details are correct.

Revisions and Changes

Your Scope Confirmation will state how many revision rounds are included.

A revision round may include reasonable changes to text, images, links, layout details, section order, basic styling, contact details, and calls to action.

Revisions do not include a full redesign, a new direction, new pages, new features, major copy rewrites, or repeated rounds of changes unless ZettaFish agrees in writing.

Requests outside the accepted scope may require a new quote, adjusted timeline, or separate project.

Timeline

Any timeline provided by ZettaFish is an estimate unless clearly stated otherwise in writing.

Project timing depends on payment being received, client materials being provided, client feedback being timely, third-party tools or accounts being available, domain or DNS access being ready, and the scope staying within the approved project.

If the project is delayed because ZettaFish is waiting on client materials, feedback, approval, payment, or access, ZettaFish may reschedule the project based on current availability.

Preview Access

Before launch, ZettaFish may provide a private preview link so you can review your site before it goes live.

This preview may live at a ZettaFish development address, such as dev.zettafish.com/[your-site]. The preview is meant for review, feedback, and approval before launch. It may not be the final public website address.

During the preview stage, you can click through the site, review content, test links, and let ZettaFish know if anything needs to be adjusted within the included revision scope.

The preview site should not be used as your public website, shared broadly with customers, indexed for search, or used for real business transactions unless ZettaFish confirms otherwise in writing.

Preview access is temporary and may be changed, restricted, password-protected, or removed after the site is launched.

Launch Approval

Before launch, ZettaFish will provide a preview or review opportunity.

You are responsible for reviewing the site and confirming that the content, links, contact details, offers, images, and business information are accurate.

Once you approve the site for launch, ZettaFish may move forward with launch setup.

Small corrections may be handled after launch at ZettaFish’s discretion, but new requests, larger changes, or items outside the accepted scope may require separate pricing.

Domain, Hosting, and Third-Party Services

You are responsible for owning and maintaining your domain name unless a different arrangement is stated in your Scope Confirmation.

ZettaFish may help connect your site to your domain, configure DNS, or manage technical setup as part of the accepted scope.

You should not send ZettaFish your registrar password unless ZettaFish specifically requests a secure access method. When possible, domain and account access should be handled through proper account sharing, DNS instructions, or temporary access.

Third-party tools and services may be needed for your site, such as a domain registrar, hosting or deployment tools, booking tools, payment processors, ecommerce platforms, email marketing tools, analytics tools, forms, or automation tools.

Unless your Scope Confirmation says otherwise, third-party fees, subscriptions, accounts, policies, and platform requirements are your responsibility.

ZettaFish is not responsible for outages, pricing changes, policy changes, account issues, or service interruptions caused by third-party platforms.

ZettaFish Systems, Care, and Account Access

ZettaFish may use internal tools, dashboards, hosting systems, identity/login systems, billing tools, APIs, automation tools, and admin systems to manage Launch Lite sites and related services.

Some tools may be internal only. Some customer-facing tools may become available later.

Access to a dashboard, account center, admin portal, care plan portal, billing portal, or command center is only included if it is listed in your accepted Scope Confirmation or care plan.

ZettaFish may improve, replace, reorganize, or remove internal systems over time.

Each client site remains tied to its own scope, content, domain, business information, and approved services.

Ownership and Reuse

You own the business content, logo, photos, brand assets, and materials you provide to ZettaFish, as long as you have the right to use them.

After final payment, you own the final public-facing website content created specifically for your business, subject to any third-party tools, licenses, or platform rules.

ZettaFish retains ownership of its reusable systems, frameworks, templates, components, code libraries, processes, documentation, internal tools, design patterns, automations, and know-how.

ZettaFish may reuse general ideas, structures, components, code, workflows, and processes from Launch Lite projects for other clients, as long as ZettaFish does not intentionally reuse your private business information or confidential materials.

Care Plans and Post-Launch Support

Launch Lite gets your site live. Ongoing updates and support are separate unless included in your Scope Confirmation.

After launch, ZettaFish may offer an optional care plan for small updates, basic checks, and light ongoing support.

A care plan may include small text updates, hours or contact changes, link checks, photo swaps, seasonal updates, minor call-to-action adjustments, basic site checks, and light recommendations for future improvements.

Care plans do not include full redesigns, new website builds, full ecommerce management, custom software features, backend development, major copy rewrites, marketing campaigns, paid ads management, or emergency support unless specifically agreed in writing.

Work outside a care plan may be quoted separately.

Pauses, Delays, and Non-Response

If ZettaFish is waiting on materials, feedback, payment, approval, or access from you, the project may be paused.

If there is no response for an extended period, ZettaFish may close, reschedule, or re-quote the project based on current availability.

Payments already earned for planning, setup, preparation, scheduling, or build work are not automatically refundable because of client delay or non-response.

Cancellation

You may cancel a project by giving written notice.

If you cancel before ZettaFish begins scheduling, planning, setup, or build work, ZettaFish may refund any unearned portion of your payment.

If you cancel after ZettaFish has begun scheduling, planning, setup, preparation, or build work, the initial project payment is non-refundable.

If additional work has been completed beyond the initial project payment, ZettaFish may invoice for completed work before closing the project.

ZettaFish may cancel or pause a project if required payment is not received, required materials are not provided, the project becomes materially different from the accepted scope, the client requests work ZettaFish does not provide, the client is abusive or inappropriate, or continuing the project would create legal, ethical, security, or operational concerns.

Portfolio and Marketing Use

Unless you request otherwise in writing, ZettaFish may mention or display the completed project in its portfolio, website, social media, proposals, case studies, or marketing materials.

ZettaFish will not intentionally share private business information, sensitive account details, passwords, or confidential materials in portfolio use.

If your project should remain private, please tell ZettaFish in writing before launch.

No Guaranteed Business Results

ZettaFish will work to create a clear, polished, and useful website based on the accepted scope.

However, ZettaFish does not guarantee specific business results, sales, leads, traffic, search rankings, customer conversions, revenue, or platform performance.

Your results may depend on many factors outside ZettaFish’s control, including your offer, market, pricing, customer demand, reputation, promotion, content, third-party platforms, and ongoing business activity.

Accessibility, Compliance, and Regulated Content

ZettaFish aims to build clear and usable websites, but Launch Lite does not include a formal accessibility audit, legal compliance review, industry-specific regulatory review, privacy compliance review, or policy drafting unless specifically stated in your Scope Confirmation.

You are responsible for making sure your business, website content, offers, policies, claims, and customer-facing materials meet any laws or regulations that apply to your business.

If your business operates in a regulated area, you should have the relevant content reviewed by a qualified professional.

Security and Account Access

ZettaFish may need access to certain accounts, tools, or settings to complete your project.

When possible, access should be provided through secure account sharing, limited permissions, temporary access, or instructions rather than shared passwords.

You are responsible for maintaining your own account security, payment methods, domain ownership, and third-party platform access.

ZettaFish is not responsible for issues caused by lost client credentials, expired accounts, unpaid third-party services, unauthorized third-party access, or changes made outside ZettaFish’s control.

Updates to These Terms

ZettaFish may update these Launch Lite Terms from time to time.

The terms in effect when you approve your Scope Confirmation or make your initial project payment will apply to that project unless both you and ZettaFish agree otherwise in writing.

Future updates may apply to future projects, renewals, care plans, or new services.

If you have questions about these terms, please contact ZettaFish before approving your Scope Confirmation or making payment.
